ENTRY RULES: All male and female athletes belonging to National Federation for year 2005 and all athletes who have a medical certificate (getting the membership card for the promotional race) may enter the 1st SAPPADA WINTER TRIATHLON. All elite athletes with official license may enter the team relay race as well as all athletes with a valid agonistic medical certificate.
Official F.I.Tri and I.T.U. rules applied. Rigid helmet obligatory. By sending the entry-form all competitors exempt the Organising Committee from any liability in case of damage done or suffered.
TRACK: RUNNING: 3 km circuit on snow
MTB: 4 km circuit on mix ground
CROSS COUNTRY SKI: 3.3 km circuit
In the elite and team relay race 3 laps will be made for each discipline. In the promotional race 2 laps for discipline.
TEAM RELAY: Team relay of 3 athletes, one for each discipline: every single competitor will run just one discipline to change than with the next competitor.

- TEAM RELAY: top ten teams will be awarded with special gifts.

- SAPPADA-FLASSIN COMBINED: each competitor taking part to both individual races in Flassin (Aosta) on the 20th of February and in Sappada on the 6th of March will be awarded with a special gift, as well as top 6 women and top 10 men in the combined.
HOW TO GET TO SAPPADA:
From Veneto Region: highway A27 Mestre-Belluno, right after last exit (Longarone) keep on going towards Pieve di Cadore, before getting to Auronzo di Cadore, turn towards S. Stefano di Cadore and continue till you get to Sappada.
From Friuli Region: highway A27 Palmanova-Tarvisio, exit Tolmezzo, main road SS 52, pass by Ovaro, Rigolato till you get to Sappada
